Organic Farm, Balmaclellan
was the venue for the first "Paint It
While It`s There" Event, organised by Alison Chapman of
GLARE. Following a lively Question and Answer Session with David Bellamy at the Coffee Morning in Dalry Town Hall - and some warming soup - a group of artists braved the freezing wind and frequent showers to have a go at sketching Blackcraig Hill, along with encouragement from David Bellamy. |

The
TV Cameras weren`t able to come that day, so many of
the
artists came back again on the following Monday, to be
filmed for ITV`s
Look Around programme. We didn`t all complete our paintings on the day, but two of the paintings that were finished can be seen on the pinboard. |
