"Swan cut to pieces by turbine blades" from the Western Mail on this website . It describes what some horrified office workers saw from their window.

Recently, shoppers in a supermarket were hit by a seagull that was dismembered by a turbine blade.... need link here...

Remember, many bird deaths are not noted because the turbines are in lonely places, and predators may take them away.
