The Goodman Family

Paul, Muriel, Emma and Charles, and Diana

Deborah
Deborah, an artist who lives in North Tawton, came over to meet up with me at Nichols Nymet House, the home of Paul and Muriel Goodman, where I stayed on the Saturday and Sunday nights. Here I am putting my foot up, as per Phil Hancock`s instructions, while Muriel photographed us.
Doing the potatoes
Peeling the potatoes for Sunday lunch, with Diana, Paul Goodman`s mother. Whatever they do to them that makes their roast potatoes so good, it can`t be anything to do with the peeeling!  As I said elsewhere, they make the best roast potatoes I have ever eaten!

hens
Sme hens at Nchols Nymet House - providing fresh eggs for bed and breakfast guests.  Paul is a musician, and Muriel a midwife as well as a bespoke picture framer, and they also do Bed and Breakfast all year round in their Georgian Manor House, built in 1816, set in its own grounds with views over the Devon countryside.
The Goodman family
The Goodman family, outside the Rectory Farm Tea Rooms where we had lunch on the Monday to celebrate Paul`s birthday.
The sun actually came out, and we heard that the weather was going to take a turn for the better - no more rain for a while!
On the way there, we paid a surprise visit to Sue and Pete, who had put me up the week before. It was good to see them again.
The Goodman family went down to the beach for a walk, while I sat in their car with my foot up yet again.
Muriel and Phil
Muriel and Phil, after my third session of treatment.  None of us could believe how much better the ankle had become. Phil said I could now walk on it again, if I was very careful not to overdo it.

Thank you so much again to Muriel for taking me over to Phil`s three times, and to Phil for working his magic so that I could hit the road again.
